Priyanka Chopra is a global star in the true sense and she’s growing by leaps and bounds in terms of her career. Today, PeeCee took to Instagram to confirm another good news. She will be seen in yet another Hollywood film and this time she will be collaborating with Mindy Kaling of The Mindy Project fame. The two actresses will be coming together for a film based on a big fat Indian wedding. According to reports in Deadline Hollywood, Universal won the auction for the collaboration produced by Mindy and the creative producer of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Dan Goor.
The story is likely to revolve around the culture clashes at a big wedding in India. Reports suggest that it may be a mix of Crazy Rich Asians plus My Big Fat Greek Wedding. PeeCee sounded elated to announce the news of this collaboration and just like her, we couldn’t be happier. The comedy will be a co-production by Dan, Mindy’s Kaling International, Priyanka’s Purple Pebble Pictures and 3Arts’ Howard Klein.
