Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are one on-screen jodi everyone loves! From their debut film Student Of the Year, to Humpy Sharma, Badrinath ki Dulhania and now Kalank, their films together have been loved by all: courtesy their crackling chemistry on screen.
Off-screen too, they are absolutely at ease with one another and seem like the best of friends.
We’re sorry for increasing the temperatures on an already hot summer day, but aren’t they just the most gorgeous jodi? In their interview with PTI, Varun said that his comfort around Alia translates into palpable chemistry on-screen.
It is just that I connect with her, which evokes reaction, and I guess this is what translates on-screen. When we are performing, even if it is a smallest thing she does, I notice that and there is reaction to it. Half of acting is listening and mostly we don’t do that as actors. But with her, I am definitely listening and understanding what she is trying to do
Alia, on the other hand, believes that chemistry largely depends on the vision of their writers and directors which they then execute with a lot of passion and zest. With their performances in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, we can only agree with the two actors.
We can’t wait to see them on-screen soon.
Their period drama – Kalank – also starring Madhuri Dixit Nene, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt, and Directed by Abhishek Verman is all set to release this Wednesday, 17th April.
