If ever you need ideas to use your traditional jhumkas in unique ways, then Aditi Rao Hydari‘s style will be the one to refer to. She has donned all kinds of jhumkas and even styled a pair with her red carpet gown once! This time she does it again but with the double take on Js.
For a red carpet appearance, celebrity stylist Sanam Ratansi selected this gorgeous jumpsuit designed by Tarun Tahiliani. The jumpsuit was part of his spring/summer 2019 collection and influenced by Egypt’s rich history. The one off-shoulder jumpsuit was crafted from a crinkle fabric and features the drape with gradient gold dust. The belt at the natural waist adds the right break to the silhouette. Sanam decided to add a desi tadka to this modern Egyptian look with traditional gold jhumkas from Amrapali Jewels.
Fashion Takeaway: Don’t shy away from mixing two styles. Just keep in mind to have a common thread to them just like Aditi did with the gold tone.
