He is one of the biggest superstars in Bollywood but recently, he travelled by the economy class and took everyone by surprise. Dressed very casually, AK was seated at the window seat of the aircraft and looked very comfortable.

On his 54th birthday, Aamir had announced his next Bollywood film, Lal Singh Chaddha which is going to be a remake of the Hollywood film, Forrest Gump. “It’s being made by Viacom and Aamir Khan Productions together. Iske director honge Advait Chandan, jinhone banayi thi Secret Superstar. Ek angrezi film aayi thi, Hollywood film, Forrest Gump, uska adaptation hai, we have bought the rights from Paramount,” he had shared.
Aamir also revealed that it was Atul Kulkarni who shared the idea of adapting Forrest Gump during the shooting of Rang De Basanti. “During the shoot, he had shared that the Forrest Gump is one of his favourite movies. Atul approached me with adaptation script later on but I did not take him seriously. I read the script after 2 and a half years and loved it. After that, I went behind taking the right of the movie.” The actor further added that he was trying to get the rights of Forrest Gump for almost 8 years.
