You know there is always one accessory a person is obsessed with and it can be as basic as a watch. So, it’s safe to say that a shoe obsession is not a new obsession. Go through Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor‘s Instagram profile and you understand instantly that he is really passionate about shoes, but that’s not all. He also has a really good shoe collection that we’re now obsessed with too.
Well, apparently it’s not just us, even Anil Kapoor is quite interested in his sneaker collection. In one of our interviews, when we asked him about his comments on his children’s posts, here’s what he said:
I actually see and get to know about their whereabouts on their Instagram stories, whether they are in gym working out, gone for some event, or a shoot, meeting his friends, see whether he is wearing his white sneakers or not, if not I would steal them for myself.
Who wouldn’t wanna steal some really cool kicks from the closet that has the most rad collection? We asked the main man himself about his shoe obsession and his intense sneaker collection.
Q. How many sneakers do you own?
I’m too embarrassed to count … also the number keeps changing.
Q. What are your favourite sneaker brands?
Nike, Adidas, Vans, Converse, but honestly (there are) way too many to the list. Nike‘s Jordan brand too.
Q. How do you maintain your shoes, in general?
I use products from Crep Protect, which is a spray that you can spray onto your shoes before stepping out and it basically protects the shoe from picking up too much dirt or getting stained … also Crep Cure is a great shoe cleaner and can undo some serious damage.
Q. As a sneakerhead, which style would you recommend to everyone?
There’s no one particular style as that would be far too limiting.
Q. Which is the most comfortable pair you own?
The Nike X Off White Presto.
Q. Is there a particular go-to look that you like to wear with your sneakers, in general?
Shorts and an oversized t-shirt.
