One small positive change in our everyday lifestyle can really do wonders, don’t you think? As you grow older, you start realising how important it is to take care of your health and body. And this does not mean you take into consideration the unrealistic beauty standards set by photoshopped images. It means you take care of the inside, not your outer appearance. Because, when you feel good on the inside, it really does show on the outside.

We, at MissMalini, are always looking for new and different ways to better our lifestyle choices. So when it was time for BRAVE—1st-anniversary celebration of Malini’s Girl Tribe, we knew we had to do something that’d make us all feel much more positive. This idea turned into one of the most amazing experiences with a yoga session by Diva Yoga and a dance meditation class by Junelia Aguiar at BRAVE. Which is why I thought I’d list down 5 yoga and meditation classes that y’all can enroll yourselves for some soul rejuvenation too! Read on to find out.

1. Diva Yoga Studio

Diva Yoga is founded by Malaika Arora and Sarvesh Shashi. It is an experimental yoga studio, exclusively for women. Along with regular yoga classes, they also offer programs that focus on flexibility, balance, healing, body toning, stamina, awareness, core, posture alignment, and mindfulness. Make sure you carry your own yoga mats here.

2. Cosmic Fusion

If you’re someone who prefers enrolling in small batches for yoga and meditation then this one is for you. Cosmic Fusion is located in Khar and has classes holding small batches of 12 people. They conduct sessions for children as well as couples. Also, if you or someone you know is looking for special pre-natal or post-natal yoga classes then Cosmic Fusion offers them too!

3. The Yoga Insitute

This one is believed to be the oldest organised yoga institute in the world! Founded in 1918, it is now run by Dr. Jayadeva Yogendra and his wife Hansa Yogendra. They have people coming from all over to world to learn yoga and meditation. And not just this, they also conduct many workshops for stress management. They’re running on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and hold classes of an hour’s duration.

4. Ananda Mumbai Institute

Founded in 1968 in the USA, Ananda has offered support to the ones looking for spiritual growth. Ananda Sangha conducts classes, study materials, events, satsangs, and more across six continents. This is carried out through communities, meditation groups, teaching centers as well as individual devotees. And that’s not all, the book ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ is also a work of their organisation.

5. Yogacara

Yogacara is actually a tribute to one of the greatest yoga legends—BKS Iyengar. His strong dedication and love towards the practice of yoga and meditation continue to help heal people from different parts of the world. You can know more about him and his work through Iyenger school of Yoga. Yogacara is all in all a wellness and stress management center.
