Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter were making headlines even before their movie released across theatres last year. While both their performances and chemistry were appreciated by everyone, what we love even more is their off-screen camaraderie. For which both of them have had to face questions about whether they are dating each other or not. While both of them have gone on to say that they just really good friends, the smiles that they try to hide whenever the conversation comes up is unmissable. Recently, Janhvi was questioned about her dating life and of course, Ishaan’s topic came up too. On an episode with Feet up With the Stars, Anaita Shroff asked her if her dad screened all the boys she dates.
She said:
Yes, except I don’t have many dates because dad believes…no boy is good enough for me.
And then, Anaita asked her how Ishaan did in the screening at which Janhvi blushed and said,
Huh? Dad thinks Ishaan is a lovely actor and a nice boy. That’s all he thinks.
On Neha Dhupia’s BFF’s With Vogue, she was asked whether she had ever fallen for a colleague to which she replied, “This is a trick question”
This is not the first time that Janhvi has been asked about her equation with Ishaan. She was grilled for the same by Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan as well when her brother Arjun Kapoor also happened to hint that Ishaan is always around her jumping off buildings to impress her.
While we don’t know what’s brewing, we absolutely love the camaraderie between Ishaan and Janhvi. And we just hope we get to see them on-screen together again!
