A massive fire reportedly broke out at Karan Johar‘s Dharma productions’ godown, spanning 18,000 sq. feet. It was located at the Cama Industrial Estate in Goregaon East and 12 fire engine were reportedly deployed to bring the flames under control.

As per reports, the fire broke out on the first floor and eventually spread to the remaining 2 floors. The incident, which took place around 2:30 AM on April 30, caused irreparable damage to the building, which was home to Dharma’s invaluable treasure accumulated over the years.

A report in DNA states that everything from the costumes to the props belonging to Dharma – from their films in the 80s until now – was stored there. A lot of film memorabilia, books and valuable artefacts got burnt to ashes during the unfortunate mishap. Not just that, shooting material for their upcoming as well as under-production films was also, most probably, stored in the godown.
