After the passing of Chanel‘s OG Karl Lagerfeld earlier this year, the brand’s new creative director, Virginie Viard had big shoes to fill. With her expertise, Chanel presented their first Cruise 2020 show in Paris that marked its first-ever collection without Mr Lagerfeld.

The show took place at the Grand Palais in Paris which was transformed into a train station. Mind-blown? Wait till you hear about the collection… The new collection showcased a modern spin on the Chanel classics. From the old-school silhouettes and textures to a new-age style of wearing Bermuda shorts and safari-inspired gear, Viard’s vision and designs aren’t for minimalists. Bold pieces, statement accessories, heavy evening-wear gowns, all with a retro and luxe twist were just the icing on the top of this grand event… Scroll down to take a look at some of the real MVPs from the Cruise show.
