Kangana Ranaut has a string of releases lined up for 2019. After delivering a fabulous performance in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi earlier this year, she will be seen in Panga as well as Mental Hai Kya. She also announced on her birthday that she will be playing the titular role in Jayalalitha‘s biopic. That’s quite an interesting mix of movies, isn’t it?!
Kangana was also reported to be doing Anurag Basu‘s next, titled Imli. The two teamed up earlier for Gangster and A Life In A Metro. However, owing to a difference in opinion, their reunion for Imli didn’t work out. Guess third time isn’t always a charm!
As per several reports, Basu has now approached Deepika Padukone for the role and the actress has shown interest in the project. DP is currently busy with Chhapaak and might give a nod to the filmmaker soon.
