7 Beauty Looks From The MET Gala That Are Easier To Wear Than The Clothes

Natasha Patel , 08 May 2019

One day later and we’re still reeling from this year’s MET Gala. As most of you know by now the theme, “Camp: Notes on Fashion” brought on some extravagant, OTT style with accessories, makeup looks and hairstyles in sync with the extreme theme. Looking at Deepika Padukone‘s Barbie doll pink, Zac Posen gown, Lady Gaga‘s Brandon Maxwell‘s number that she kept shedding on the red carpet, it’s safe to say that extra was the name of the game!

And unlike any other red carpet, one can never look at the MET‘s to serve as a source for inspired recreation, because hey! No one can recreate those looks! But keeping aside the feathers, tassels, glitter and sequins, the hair and makeup looks not only stuck to the playful theme of the night, they were also super wearable!

1. Deepika Padukone‘s ombré bold smokey eye with a mismatched lip

2. Sophie Turner‘ sharp navy winged smokey eye

3. Hailey Bieber‘s perfectly bow’d high pony

4. Paloma Elsesser‘s purple & blue shadow combo with doll-like lashes

5. Ashley Graham took the hair accessory game to the next level

6. Bella Hadid‘s Bridget Bardot-inspired ‘do

7. Camila Mendes‘ turquoise blue liner with Swarovski crystals
