It’s the month of May which also means it’s the month of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Like every year, we are looking forward to see all the magnificent, wonderful red carpet outfits and get our minds blown by all that glamour.

Most of them get it bang on point while others… well, not too much. Needless to say, we are most excited to see what our Indian beauties come up with. Like every year, amongst those expected to attend are Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and the most recent addition, Kangana Ranaut.

With barely a week left for one of the most sought after events of the year, one can imagine the preparations must be on in full swing. Sonam, for instance, reportedly alters her diet and workout regimen every year, a month ahead of the festival.

The actress’ nutritionist and pilates instructor, Radhika Karle revealed to Mid-day:

Red carpet outings involve high slit gowns and backless outfits, so we keep the leg work tough. There is as much emphasis on upper body workout because one needs to have a toned back to flaunt those dresses. We do combo trainer and some traditional mat pilates routines in the mornings. Her evenings are dedicated to weight training and cardio. She picked up spinning when she was in Los Angeles recently, and continues to do that as well.
