Sanjay Leela Bhansali surely has a good eye for talent. He launched Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor – one of two most well-known faces in Bollywood – in the film Saawariya. Now, 12 years later, he is all set to launch two new faces in his co-production – Malaal– where one of the debutants is his niece. Sharmin Segal is the daughter of Sanjay’s sister – Bela Segal – who is a film editor in the Hindi film industry. Opposite her in the film, is debutant Mezaan Jafferi, actor Javed Jafferi‘s son.

Film trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to make the announcement:

These two good looking actors look like they make such a nice pair! Known for having a keen eye for detail, Sanjay has reportedly groomed the two fresh faces himself and has made them ready to face the cameras. The trailer for the film is all set to release on 18th May 2019.

The actors have kept their presence in the media to a minimum so the freshness and curiosity during their debut remain intact. Their social media presence is either non-existent or private, and we haven’t seen them clicked much by the paparazzi either.

This only gets audiences more excited for their launch and we cannot wait to see them in the trailer. The film is being directed by Mangesh Hadawale and co-produced by Bhansali Productions and T-Series.
