The Cannes Film Festival is officially back in action! Whilst most of the fashion crowd has been swooning over all the outfits, I’ve got my eyes glued to the impressive beauty looks I’ve seen… especially those of my favourite Indian celebrities! Here’s a quick breakdown of each look.
1. Deepika Padukone
First off, is Deepika Padukone’s chic look. The actress showed off her gorgeous bone structure with a sky-high, sleek ponytail that was wrapped in leather. The real star however, was her eye makeup. Makeup artist, Sandhya Shekar, enhanced Deepika’s eyes with a thick stroke of black liner on the lower rims of her peepers. The intense colour and elongated shape added just the right amount of drama to go with her outfit. A coat of peachy-pink lipstick and a hint of blush on her cheeks completed her look.
2. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka’s experimental look is the one I’m most excited to replicate. Instead of going for a standard cat-eye, she amped up things by wearing a cool, negative space graphic eye. As if that wasn’t enough, she also rocked lit-from-within skin, full brows and a plush, rosy pout. Her retro waves stood in stark contrast against her edgy makeup and softened up the whole vibe.
3. Kangana Ranaut
There’s only one word to describe Kangana’s look – smouldering! The actress’ smoked out eyes and strong contour gave off a powerful vibe and really brought forth her features. I love how she’s opted for a glossy, neutral lip rather than a bold colour so as not to overshadow the rest of her makeup. Her slicked back hairstyle added the perfect finishing touch to her fierce look.
