Well, after those four rounds of super stylish looks in just a few hours, we were hoping for something much bigger and a whole lotta better from Deepika Padukone‘s day two, red carpet look. It’s now safe to say that not only did Deepika kept the promise but also won everyone over with this one!
After her eye-grabbing entry on her day one of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, we didn’t think it was possible to one-up the Dundas look. Clearly, we were wrong to assume this after those mighty four changes that she displayed on her Instagram feed till the afternoon. Picking the lime green Giambattista Valli tulle gown, celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani and her team ensured that everyone would stop and stare at her. The overdose of puffy lime tulle was constricted at the waist with a contrasting belt. The gown also featured a bow at the neckline in the same colour. Deepika adorned jewels from Lorraine Schwartz along with this look too.
Continuing the contrast, Shaleena added a head wrap from Emily-London, and celebrity hairstylist Gabriel Georgiou worked brilliantly with it and gave her a sleek updo. With such a vibrant gown, celebrity makeup artist Sandhya Shekar went for a muted dewy makeup look.
