I love music videos because, in such a short span of time, you get to witness some great stories with music that can stay with you. That’s exactly what the band Euphoria‘s track ‘Saajna‘ leaves you with. Euphoria was a sensation back in the ’90s and were the pioneers of the Indian pop music scene then. It’s great to hear Palash Sen in this soulful love ballad, which also features Akriti Kakar‘s voice.

The music video traces an innocent love story set in the quaint village in Punjab. It features Snayhil Aneja and Riya Ahuja in lead roles. It explores the love story between the two of them at a time when they are going to part ways, as he gets a posting in the army. The video reveals to us the emotions and sacrifices made by the loved ones and families of the army men. The ending does leave you feeling bad for the couple, yet proud at the same time as she takes her love for him forward by stepping into his shoes. It certainly is a great tribute to the families and loved ones of the army men.
