Let me just put it out there – we love Shah Rukh Khan! Despite his cold run at the box office with a string of unsuccessful movies, his charm can never fade away for us. He’ll forever be the King Khan who ruled the hearts of an entire generation.
Another man from Btown we really admire for his work is Rajkumar Hirani. With blockbuster hits such as the Munnabhai series, PK, Sanju, 3 Idiots and more, we can’t help but look forward to watching his masterpieces in theatres.
Imagine our excitement when we heard that Raju Hirani and SRK are possibly collaborating for a love story, which will be co-produced by their respective production houses. The duo has reportedly been waiting to work together since 16 years, ever since their first association, Munnabhai MBBS fell apart.
Speaking more about the project, a source told Mid-Day that:
People have been waiting for Shah Rukh to announce his next project after Zero. Shah Rukh and Hirani have been meeting since a few months to discuss this. It’s almost finalised. Hirani will float his own banner and will not (work) with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, as has been the norm. It’s a romantic drama with a strong emotional cord running through; it’s right up SRK’s alley.
Well, we sure hope the project materialises soon enough because we cannot wait to watch SRK back on screens.
