’83– the film based on team India’s first Cricket World Cup win – is definitely one of the most awaited movies. We have more than one reason to be excited about it- reliving team India’s journey during the 1983 world cup on the big screen (the cricket fanatic in me cannot keep calm), and Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone coming together in a film for the first time after tying the knot.
While Ranveer and the team were already in Glasgow, Scotland for the shoot of the sports drama, Deepika joined them this week. Welcoming Deepika to the ’83 squad, Ranveer shared some fun photos of them with director Kabir Khan.
Don’t miss all the captions on the posts! Aren’t they very cute? What also got our attention was the Simmba actor’s comment on the post which was – “… and this time we don’t die in the end! Yay!” To this, we are also going to say ‘yay!’
Ranveer also shared a goofy boomerang with Deepika and wrote, “Story of my Life 😅 Real & Reel ! @deepikapadukone.” Check it out:
The Padmaavat actress also shared a video and wrote the sweetest thing along. “Being the Supportive Wife On and off the field,” it read.
For those who don’t know, Ranveer is playing the role of Kapil Dev, the then captain of the cricket team and Deepika will be seen as his wife, Romi Dev. All these photos and videos of #DeepVeer from the ’83 sets have us smiling!
The film is all set to release on 10th April 2020.
