Ever since the news of Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra reuniting for a movie hit social media, fans couldn’t keep calm. Their last stint at the movies — Hasee Toh Phasee had proved to be a moderate success thanks to the quirky storyline and their chemistry. The poster and the synopsis of the storyline itself were enough to get us excited and now that the trailer is finally out, looks like it was worth the wait. Jabariya Jodi directed by Prashant Singh is a hilarious take on groom-kidnapping that is prevalent in many parts of India. While Sidharth plays a Bihari goon who is an expert at groom kidnapping and “Jabariya Shaadi“, Pari plays Babli, the badass girl who he falls in love with. The trailer looks like all kinds of fun and we’re so excited about this. We get yet another rom-com and we’re not complaining because Sid and Pari’s chemistry looks off-the-charts.

If that’s not vibrant and everything that looks like an entertainer. We don’t know what is! We love how both Sid and Pari has adapted the Bihari accent as well. The movie is all set to release on 2nd August 2019 and we think it’s about time we had some fun at the theatre. We hope Jabariya Jodi is the kind that will make us laugh, hoot and clap at the movies.
