Arjun and Malaika have never hidden their relationship but never officially announced it either, until recently. Malaika, in an interview with Hindustan Times, said that it ‘feels amazing’ being in a relationship again. For those who don’t know, Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan for almost 18 years until they announced their divorce in 2016 and were officially divorced in May 2017.
She also revealed that she wasn’t sure if she wanted to be in a relationship after her marriage ended but also ‘wanted to be in love and nurture a relationship’. She said, “This new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did.”
Malaika also spoke about her son, Arhaan Khan‘s reaction to her relationship with Arjun.
She shared:
I believe the best way to approach any situation is with honesty. It’s important to tell your near and dear ones what’s happening in your life and then give them time and space to understand and process things. We have had that conversation and I am so glad that everyone is in a much happier and more honest space today.
