Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas‘ wedding was one of the grandest weddings of 2018. They had a super chilled mehendi ceremony, extremely fun sangeet, a Christian wedding ceremony, a Hindu wedding, and around 5 receptions. The two were dating each other for almost close to a year before they tied the knot. Now, it’s almost 7 months since they have been happily married, and PeeCee recently opened up about how she never realised how different having a boyfriend and husband is.
In an interview with Elle, she spoke about life after marriage and how they are learning about each other every day.
She said:
I’d never realised having a husband and a boyfriend are such different things. When you say your vows, it’s like, this person is my family, and it’s the family I chose. There’s a weird responsibility to them. And a safety that comes from it. We are learning about each other every day.
She also spoke about her marriage and how it turned out to be extravagant. PeeCeea and Nick jiju had decided on the venue (Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India) for their wedding in October and got married on 1st December. They had almost a month and a half to plan things. Piggy Chops explained their reactions saying, “We were just like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’s get it.’ And suddenly we were like, ‘Oh god. It was very extravagant.” She also added, “Hopefully, you just do it once. So it’s fine.”
