It came as a surprise to many when adorable pictures of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actor Barun Sobti celebrating his wife Pashmeen Manchanda‘s baby shower started popping up on social media. The couple welcomed a baby girl around five days ago.
They have bought their baby girl back home as well and we’re sure celebrations are on the cards. The couple named their little munchkin Sifat. What a beautiful name, don’t you think?
Barun confirmed the news to Hindustan Times Talking and talked about welcoming the little one.
He said:
It was such a beautiful moment when I held her in my arms for the first time. I can’t express how special the feeling is. We are back home and most of our immediate family members came to see us. It is just that we’re very exhausted taking care of the baby. Turn by turn, we stay awake the entire night. We’ll soon host our friends to meet Sifat and bless her and maybe, visit Delhi too in the later part of the year.
He also revealed that it wasn’t part of the plan to hide the pregnancy and they told their friends and family when they were supposed to. The world got to know about their pregnancy when their close friend and Barun’s IPKKND co-star Sanaya Irani along with many of their TV friends posted pictures from the baby shower.
