When it comes to Bollywood rap you know there’s no one who can do it as Badshah does. From his debut Saturday Saturday in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania to his latest Paagal, there is no party that’s complete without songs by Badshah. He is the Badshah of rap in every sense and with his latest solo music video he has proven to be just that. Badshah dropped his latest music video called Paagal. The all-out rhythmic pop song was instantly a viral sensation, In fact, within 24 hours it has crossed 75 million views on Sony Music India’s YouTube channel dethroning BTS and Taylor Swift. Earlier BTS and Taylor Swift were the ones to hold the record of music videos crossing such massive numbers in a few hours but looks like Badshah is planning for global domination.
We already have the song playing on loop.
I am ecstatic and I am overwhelmed with the amount of love we have received in the last 24 hours. Paagal was made with the focused intent of taking music from India across borders and making our presence felt. And my fans just went all out on this one to help me achieve my dream. We’re going BIG with this one.
Badshah even took to his Instagram to thank his fans for showering him with love for Paagal.
Directed by the globally acclaimed Marlon Pena, the video has been shot across various iconic locations in LA including the LA river where the likes of Grease, Dark Knight Rises, Fast and Furious have previously been shot.
