Fans of actor Irrfan Khan (a.k.a all of us!) were delighted to see him back on set to shoot for Homi Adajania‘s Angrezi Medium. The actor experienced a slight set-back due to his health concerns, but was soon back to doing what he does best! The team of Angrezi Medium wrapped their film this week, and Homi took this opportunity to thank Irrfan for doing the film and penned an emotional note on Instagram.
He spoke about how, through all the odds and obstacles, the entire team stood by the project. He especially thanked Irrfan for being incredible, and gave him credit for being a decent actor!

What a beautifully written note! Especially loving his hashtag: #IfLifeGivesYouLemonsGrabSomeTequila! Homi has given us some lovely films like Cocktail and Finding Fanny, and we are sure this film will also be great.
This is Irrfan’s comeback after a long hiatus as he was undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumour in London.
Angrezi Medium also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in the lead roles. Radhika plays Irrfan’s daughter, while Kareena essays the role of a cop. Celebrity stylist and Homi’s wife, Anaita Shroff Adajania shared Kareena’s look from the film and we absolutely loved it!

Angrezi Medium also has an amazing set of talented actors like Deepak Dobriyal (who was a part of Hindi Medium as well), and Pankaj Tripathi playing supporting roles. We cannot wait to catch this film on screen soon!
