It’s not every day when you get to dine like royalty. So when the team of Colors TV‘s Bahu Begum invited me for the ‘Begum Ki Daawat‘, I was super excited to experience it! The Nawabi themed dinner set-up was all kinds of elaborate and fancy. The sheer grandness of it made me feel extremely special from the word go. Also, I cannot not mention the lovely table décor in hues of red, gold and ivory! Everything was complementing the theme – with red roses, candelabras and all the royal jazz! We were served an elaborate thali consisting of decadent and rich Nawabi cuisine. We were huffing and puffing, trying to finish all the delicious food on our silver thalis! But how can we be done without dessert?! The lip-smacking sweet dish certainly marked the perfect end to the absolutely luxurious dinner.

Here are all the pictures from the eventful Daawat:

As you can see in the pictures, we dined and hung out with the cast of Bahu Begum, and it was a great experience. The upcoming show is the perfect blend of romance, drama and royalty. It’s a romantic saga set around the Nawabi family of Bhopal and traces the stories of three individuals who are all bound together through a single marriage. Naturally, everyone’s waiting for this one with bated breath. For those who don’t know, it features some of the most celebrated actors from the TV industry.

Simone Singh, who’s popular for her roles in TV serials like Heena and Ek Hasina Thi, will be seen as Begum Raziya. Telly town’s heartthrob Arijit Taneja (who was last seen in Kumkum Bhagya) will be essaying the character of Azaan Ali Khan alongside actresses Samiksha Jaiswal as Noor and Dianaa Khan as Shayra Anwar. Under certain circumstances, the three of them are bound together by a Nikaah that turns all their lives upside down.

So now, you can definitely expect a sure shot entertainer with lots of twists and turns served on a royal platter.

To dive into the sophisticated and complicated world of the Nawab family of Bhopal, tune into Bahu Begum starting 15th July, every Monday to Friday at 9:30 P.M on Colors.
