We all have enjoyed Bollywood romantic films and it is one of our favourite genres. Back in school, we have enjoyed the coming-of-age romantic films the most and the 2003 release, Ishq Vishk is definitely one film we loved watching. It marked Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao‘s debut in Bollywood, and soon after the release, they became one of the most loved on-screen couples.
The producer of the film, Ramesh Taurani recently confirmed that it is soon going to get a sequel and the Ishq Vishk fans were more than excited about this! Everyone was curious to know who would be cast as Rajiv Mathur (Shahid’s character) and Payal Mehra (Amrita’s character).
So when the media recently met Amrita at designer Sonali Jain‘s flagship store launch, they asked her about which actress she’d like to see in her role. To this, Amirta said in jest, “Jaisi main dikh rahi hoon, main Ishaan ke opposite Ishq Vishk 2 kar sakti hoon. (The way I look right now, I can definitely do Ishq Vishk 2 opposite Ishaan) What say, Ishaan?.”
She then chose the actress she’s like to see as her character in the sequel.
Amrita said:
Sara (Ali Khan) can play Payal and Tara (Sutaria) can play the role that Shenaz played.
