But, while promoting his upcoming film – Jabariya Jodi – on The Kapil Sharma Show, the actor revealed that he in fact was distracted by girls during his school days, because of which he even failed his 9th grade!
Yes, you heard it right. The very studious and dedicated student from Student Of The Year agreed to the fact that his attention in academics was affected by girls and that his failure actually turned out to work for the better as he was shifted from an all-boys school to a co-ed school after that!

Yes, my attention was diverted by girls. But this (the failure) turned out to be a positive thing in my life as I was eventually moved to a co-ed school where I learned better. And I passed my 10th and 11th grade with good grades.
Sid sure has had quite the school life, right?!
Talking about the film, Jabriya Jodi, it is being directed by Prashant Singh and co-stars Parineeti Chopra. The drama-comedy has an interesting plot set in Patna, Bihar where the groom is kidnapped in order to do away with dowry in marriages! It also stars Aparshakti Khurana playing a key role and is all set to release on August 2.
