Karan Patel has been working on the popular television serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein since seven years now, starting in 2013. His character on the show, Raman Kumar Bhalla, has earned him loads of praise and awards during the course of the show and fans still love watching him and his Jodi with co-star Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya. For a few months now though, there have been rumours about Karan’s future on the television show. Reports speculated that the actor was quitting the show, or taking a break from it. We didn’t have any confirmation on this news, until now.
A report on SpotboyE has Karan himself confirming that he is not a part of the celebrated serial anymore. The article first quoted a close source who mentioned that Karan wasn’t happy with the track of the show. But when Karan was contacted, he denied anything of that sort but confirmed he was out of the show. The article also states that Karan has given his nod to feature in the 13th season of the reality show – Bigg Boss and mentioned that he has another reality show in his kitty. As far as reports suggest, we are guessing Karan is also going to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi, season 10.
While Karan didn’t confirm the news, according to reports, actor Chaitanya Chaudhary is all set to replace Karan opposite Divyanka Tripathi on the show.
We surely will miss seeing Karan on the show, but we sure are excited to see what he has in store for us on the reality show front!
