Now, he is all set to star in Jabariya Jodi where he is paired opposite Parineeti Chopra.
This is unchartered territory for Sidharth, who has not played a character like this previously. He essays the role of a tough thug from Patna, Bihar. Jabariya Jodi is based on the groom kidnapping culture prevalent in Bihar. This comical tale traces the love story between Sidharth and Parineeti’s character and looks like a lot of fun!
Being the dedicated actor he is, Sid is said to have done a two-month workshop before the film went on floors to master the Bhojpuri accent and the thug-like body language. His look is also flamboyant and colourful – where he wears a gamcha, dons colourful and quirky shirts and even balis in his ears. With his handsome face, he is sure to carry off this quirky look like a boss!
