The X Factor UK gave us one of the best girl bands of recent times the Fifth Harmony. While the five girls (Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei and Camilla Cabello) didn’t go on to win the reality show, they managed to top the charts in the following years. Even on the show, Demi Lovato who was a judge on X-Factor had revealed that one singer from the band that stood out to her was Camilla.
While the band went out to make chart-busting songs together, in 2016 Camilla announced that she was leaving the band. Back then, there were rumours that there was bad blood between Camilla and the rest of her bandmates and this was the reason for her exit but nothing was confirmed. In 2017, Camilla recorded for her debut single album and in 2018 released Havana which went on to become a chartbuster in the US, UK, Australia, and many more countries. The same year, Fifth Harmony announced that they were going on a hiatus to follow individual projects.
Now, in a recent interview with Variety, the singer has opened up about her current relationship with the Fifth Harmony members. She went on to reveal that she had not kept in touch with any of them.
She further added:
It’s not because there’s any animosity left — just the courses of our lives have drifted. But if I saw any of them at an awards show, I would say hi and it would be totally cool. It feels like there’s been a reset just because of the amount of time that’s passed.
We’re glad to know that there are no hard feelings between the group.
