If there’s one person we wouldn’t mind listening to for hours at a stretch in Bollywood, it’d be Shah Rukh Khan. Be it at interviews or press conferences, he will make sure to have everyone’s undivided attention. SRK is currently in Melbourne for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2019, and during an interaction, he spoke about Zero, his last Bollywood release.

He said:

I just finished the last film I made and to put it lightly, it was a disaster. I said to myself that let me enjoy a little bit of un-success as I had success for so long. So I have taken some time off for the next four or five month.

Zero was directed by Aanand L Rai and also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead.

Coming to Shah Rukh’s last few releases – Zero, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Dilwale – though they failed to impress the audiences, he hasn’t given up (and we’re glad!).

SRK said:

What drives me to do a film is the people around me who make such a great cinema… And I think I have a huge amount of capacity to do some really good cinema. I have 20-25 years of good cinema left in me.

The superstar also shared that he’s and a break and ‘meeting people, realising and discovering new stories, doing intellectual speaking’.

We can’t wait to see Shah Rukh Khan and his magic on the big screen soon! We’re sure he’s going to be back with a bang!
