Urvashi Dholakia and Anuj Sachdeva dating for a couple of years before they parted ways. But the former couple came together for the couple dance reality show Nach Baliye 9. Recently, Anuj opened up about his relationship and equation with Urvashi.
He said:
I respect Urvashi a lot but relationships change with time: Ten years ago, when I was 25, I was not capable of taking on responsibility and hence I did not want to give her any kind of false hope. I had just come to Mumbai from Delhi and I wanted to make my career and a name of my own. Today, years later, I have understood responsibility, but the moment and time has passed.
For one of the episodes which will soon be aired, the makers invited the family and friends of the actors. Urvashi’s sons, Sagar Dholakia and Kshitij Dholakia made sure to be present to cheer for their mom and also spoke about Anuj. They said, “Anuj is a very nice person, he’s perfect for our mom.” The boys also shared that every time Anuj brought something for their mother, he would always get something for them too.
They also said:
Anuj is like family to us, but we never questioned our mom about her relation with Anuj. All we want is for her to be happy and if she’s happy with Anuj, we are happy for her.
Urvashi too spoke about their relationship and revealed that when she needed him in her initial days, she never got a positive response or clarity from Anuj. Now she is independent and doesn’t t to be dependent on anyone. To this, Anuj said, “Jab waqt sahi hoga aur andar se lagega, I might just say yes.”
