Ever since it was first aired, Roadies has had a huge fan following! And thanks to the show, we were also introduced to Ayushmann Khurrana, Rannvijay Singha, Bani J and many others. Roadies, which first aired in 2003, concluded its sixteenth season last night (18th August). Arun Sharma from Raftaar‘s gang beat Ankita Pathak and Bidhan Shrestha from Prince Narula‘s gang to win Roadies: Real Heroes.

Arun was a wild-card contestant and joined the show midway. But throughout, he was one of the strongest contestants. The final task which was called Roadies Real Hero involved all the contestants. They had to rescue three things- their gang leaders, their ex-gang members and a car and whoever completes the task fastest would win the show. Arun’s performance was the best among the three!

Arun then took to Instagram and thanked his gang leader Raftaar. “The biggest hand in my success has been that of my gang leader, Raftaar sir. The epitome of Humbleness, integrity and love. I was mesmerized being guided under him and can never forget those eyes that looked at me as his final hope,” he wrote. He also wrote about his journey on the show.
