The ’90s and early 2000s will remain special for all the Bollywood buffs for various reasons. And one major reason for that is the actors. Raveena Tandon was one of the actresses from the 90s who was loved by the audience. But before she became an actor, her dad and filmmaker Ravi Tandon didn’t think she could be an actress.
During a media interaction at the third Entertainment Trade Awards, she shared her father’s reaction after he saw her on screen for the first time.
She recalled:
My father didn’t believe that I could get into acting because I didn’t attend acting or dance classes before entering films. After finishing school, I immediately faced the camera, so he was a bit shocked. I think he was pleasantly shocked and happy.
Raveena is currently one of the judges on the dance reality show, Nach Baliye. The ninth season of the show is being produced by Salman Khan and coincidently, she has worked with Salman in her debut film, Patthar Ke Phool.
Recently, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor made an appearance on Nach Baliye to promote their upcoming film, Saaho. During the episode, Prabhas pulled off a Salman Khan hook step – the Jumme Ki Raat one – with Raveena. We’re waiting to see that now!
