We have seen a number of television actors making their way in Bollywood. Of late, we saw television actress like Ankita Lokhande, Radhika Madan, Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy making their mark in Bollywood. Soon, Asha Negi will be joining this bandwagon of actresses.
As per reports, Asha will be making her big Bollywood debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan in an Anurag Basu movie. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
The cast had shared photos from the sets when they began shooting for the film.

Earlier, there were reports about the film being a sequel to 2007 released, Life In A…Metro. However, the director denied it saying that it was a completely different script. The genre is different. Life In A…Metro had drama, love story and it revolved around multiple stories about relationships. This is not that,” he said.
He also added:
This film has a bit of crime and black humour in it. The only common thing is all four stories are intersecting and affecting each other. I don’t want to confuse the audience and call it a sequel to Life In A…Metro.
Reportedly, the film will be releasing in January next year.
