Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor got married in the year 1980 and if you are a 90s kid, chances are that you have heard stories of their whirlwind affair from your parents or grandparents. Both of them were the reigning superstars of their time, and therefore it comes as no surprise that their wedding was the talk of the town.

Forty years later, Neetu ji and Rishi ji are going strong despite the several highs and lows. Lately, a few pictures from their grand wedding are doing the rounds on the internet. Old is gold, they say, and these pictures are truly precious.

Take a look at this one, which has Rekha, Bubbles Behl (Sonali Bendre‘s mother-in-law) and a very young Karisma Kapoor:

Here’s another gem from the grand wedding, featuring Rekha. So she always looked this breathtaking, huh?!

I guess she did! This one is from Neetu ji’s chooda ceremony:

If you are also stuck on that ranihaar worn by Rekha, here’s an interesting fact about it: She wore the same necklace in the song, In Ankhon Ki Masti Ke from Umrao Jaan. It’s from the actress’ personal collection and probably belongs to her mother Pushpavalli.

Did you enjoy these vintage Bollywood pictures? We sure did and can never get enough of them.
