Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently announced his upcoming venture, Inshallah, starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. The project garnered a lot of attention for obvious reasons. For one, it was a Bhansali movie, and secondly it was the first time Alia and Salman were being paired together on screen.
Unfortunately, the film has reportedly been shelved due to certain differences between Khan and SLB. Latest reports suggest that the director is now considering Shah Rukh Khan for the same role. The duo was earlier in talks for Izhaar, but as per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Bhansali is keen on casting SRK for Inshallah now that Sallu has backed out.
The report quoted a source saying that after working together in Devdas, Mr. Bhansali wanted SRK for Bajirao Mastani, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, that didn’t work out, as we all know. If King Khan signs the dotted line, Inshallah will mark his second collaboration with both Bhansali and Alia (after Dear Zindagi).
