Tired of serving the same old regular modaks every Ganesh Chaturthi? Looking to add some jazz to the festival? What if we told you that a bite into your favourite Indian sweet could give you a taste of delicious chocolate with all the works? Sounds unbelievable?

Souvik Gupta, who is the Culinary Head at Loft, shares with us a yummylicious recipe of modaks made of white chocolate with a rich centre filling of blueberries, whipped cream, and cheese. Sounds yummmmy, right? What’s more, this recipe is super quick and easy to make. Don’t believe us? Try it yourself and see!

What You’ll Need

50 grams of white chocolate

10 grams of whipped cream:

10 grams of cream cheese

5 grams of blueberries

1 Modak mould

Here’s How You Can Put It All Together

Step 1: Take a bowl and put the white chocolate in it. Then heat it up for around a minute in the microwave until the chocolate melts.

Step 2: Mix the melted chocolate really well to avoid any lumps. Then, take the modak mould and line it with some dark chocolate.

Step 3: Pour the warm melted chocolate into the mould, and refrigerate it for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Next, take another bowl and put 10 grams of cheese cream, 10 grams of whipped cream and 5 grams of finely-chopped blueberries in it. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

Step 5: Then, remove the refrigerated modaks from the mould, and scoop out the centre of each modak. Then, put the cream cheese mixture into the centre of the modak.

Step 6: Lastly, seal both the halves. Your unique and quirky modak is now ready to eat!
