When Iron Man aka Tony Stark snapped his fingers and saved the world in Avengers: Endgame, Marvel fans cried for weeks together. The heroes sacrifice along with the fact that we wouldn’t get to see more of his awesome, snarky self in any of the further MCU movies. Much before the release of the final two installments of Avengers, most of the fans knew of Robert’s exit from the movies, but many weren’t ready to accept to what level that would be. So, there are still many of us who grow teary-eyed at every “Love you, 3000”

But turns out there might be hope for us MCU fanatics because Robert Downey Jr might be coming back as Iron Man to the MCU. According to reports in We Got This Covered, Marvel‘s new Disney+ series called Ironheart will also see a bit of Robert Dowey Jr’s Iron Man. The series is said to have RDJ’s active involvement vocally just not physically. For those of you who are unaware, in the comics, after the death of Iron Man, a 15-year-old girl Riri Williams takes Iron Man’s legacy. And if rumours are to be believed, we will get to hear RDJ as Ironheart‘s AI. Much like what J.A.R.V.I.S used to be to Iron Man.

While there has been no official announcement about the same, at a recent Disney convention, the writer of Ironheart Eve Ewing introduced RDJ on stage. Moreover, the actor went on to confess that he would love to see Ironheart in the next phase of MCU as well.

We seriously hope this is true because we’d like RDJ back in the MCU in any capacity.
