Earlier this month, we got to know of Salman Khan‘s exit from his much-awaited collaboration with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Salman and Sanjay would have been collaborating after 12 years for Inshallah and this would’ve been the super star’s first project opposite Alia Bhatt. But unfortunately, the actor walked out of the project because of some creative differences with the director. Reports across the internet suggested that Salman wanted to add some masala entertainment to the movie, while Sanjay would not let that happen. Despite his exit, Salman cleared the air saying that he and Sanjay were still friends and he would love to do another film with him. This essentially means that the project has come to a standstill. But recently rumours around the internet suggested that Shah Rukh Khan might be taking over the mantle from Salman for this project. What’s more? There were rumours that SRK was even taking up a project alongside Katrina Kaif in Ali Abbas Zafar‘s next.

But SRK finally rubbished rumours in his usual witty style. He took to Twitter to tell everybody that while he was flattered that he had signed so many films behind his own back, none of them were true.

Check it out:

We love SRK for his witty replies. But we were also secretly hoping this was one of those rumours that were true. It’s been quite a while since SRK collaborated with SLB. 17 years to be exact. 17 years since he played the iconic alcoholic Devdas. It’s high time we get to see SRK in a larger than life film. Don’t you think?
