Surveen Chawla made a breakthrough in the OTT platform with her performance as Jojo Mascarenas in Sacred Games. Apart from that, she also starred in ALTBalaji’s Haq Se and is now interested in further exploring more acting opportunities on new platforms.
Therefore, the new mommy might not be able to give her time to television, where she initially started her career. In a conversation with DNA, Surveen spoke about the dearth of content on TV and why she doesn’t want to be a part of it anymore:
Television shows in our country are still not experimenting much, so that’s out of the list for me. It’s not satisfying at all. As far as films go, today content is changing and there’s a lot of experimentation that’s going on with new age writers and filmmakers. So, everybody’s focusing on content for a change which is great.
We sure are looking forward to seeing more of Surveen on screen.
