The movie The Sky Is Pink has been in the news for quite some time now. It is touted as Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Farhan Akhtar‘s come back to the big screen. And from what we can see in the trailer, it was worth the wait. The film tells a love story of a couple spanning 25 years told through the eyes of their teenage daughter diagnosed with a terminal illness —pulmonary fibrosis. Priyanka (Aditi Chaudhary) and Farhan (Niren Chaudhary) play parents to Aisha and Ishaan Chaudhary (played by Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf). And the trailer starts off with introducing Aditi and Niren in love and PeeCee and Farhan make a super good looking couple for starters. The movie is directed by Shonali Bose and co-produced by RSVP Movies, Roy Kapur Films, and Purple Pebble Films. It promises a lot of awws, smiles and tears for sure.

The movie has received a lot of good reviews at its screening at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The movie is slated for worldwide release on 11th October 2019. This will be the second time we will be seeing Farhan and PeeCee paired opposite each other after Dil Dhadakne Do and we can’t wait to see this couple make us laugh and cry with this beautiful story. This also marks Zaira’s last film in Bollywood right before her announcement of dissociating herself from the industry.
