Sunny Deol is all set to launch his son, Karan Deol in the film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which he is also directing. While it is a lot of responsibility to give your son the perfect launch, it is no easy task for Karan as well. Shouldering the name and responsibility is also a huge thing for debutant, Karan, and he knows it. Calling it a blessing and a pleasure at the same time, Karan opened up about living up to the expectations of everyone around, and his relationship with his dad.
Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Karan says that though the Deol tag can help you to an extent, beyond a point it all depends on the work you do. About working with his dad, he says that at times during the shoot, it was a little difficult to shoot kissing scenes, as Sunny wouldn’t be able to give him a lot of explanation and would ask Karan to close his eyes while watching it on the monitor! But otherwise, he says that his dad is really cool and like a friend to him.
He is very open, very different at home from what you see of him in movies. He is very sweet and understanding, and he is more like a friend. I do talk about my girlfriends with him.
Well, looks like that is one super fun father-son relationship, no?
Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas co-stars newcomer Sahher Bambba in the lead opposite Karan, and is a love story all set to release on 20th September 2019.
