Bhumi Pednekar has wowed us time and again with her performance in several top-rated films such as Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Lust Stories among others. Her upcoming projects look fairly promising with films like Saand Ki Aankh and Pati, Patni Aur Woh and Bala under her belt.

Apart from these, the actress will be seen in Alankrita Shrivastava‘s Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare alongside Konkona Sen Sharma. The film is set to premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, ahead of its theatrical release. Speaking about the film, Bhumi told a publication:

It’s a phenomenal story of sisterhood and about girls. I get to play this 22-year-old girl who is full of dreams and aspirations and it’s our coming-of-age journey — Konkona’s in her own way and mine in my own. Both Dolly and Kitty are full of ambition and it’s an entertaining script and film. I couldn’t wait to do this film immediately after reading it.

Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare also stars Vikrant Massey and Amol Parashar in pivotal roles.
