The last we heard Sanjay Leela Bhansali was working on Inshallah. But after Salman Khan‘s exit from the project, the movie has been seemingly put on hold. Having said that, Alia has been frequently spotted outside Mr. Bhansali’s office which has led to speculations of whether the project is still on. While people continue to speculate about Inshallah, turns out Sanjay Leela Bhansali has produced another movie on the down-low. The poster of which was released today. The next SLB productions you will see on-screen is not Inshallah but a movie based on our very own Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s youth. It’s an hour-long film called Mann Bairagi and is slated for release this coming winter. The first look poster of the same was unveiled by superstar Akshay Kumar on his Instagram handle.

The movie is written and directed by Sanjay Tripaathy and co-produced by Mahaveer Jain and SLB. The film is said to feature that part of our PM’s life that the audience does not know about. Talking about the same to News 18, Mr.Bhansali confirmed that he had taken up the story because it was so well-researched and focuses on the turning point in NaMo’s life.
Speaking about the film, director Sanjay Tripaathy said:
For me, it’s a human interest story about the self-discovery of a person who went on to become such a strong leader of our country.
Producer Mahaveer Jain further added that the story will definitely inspire the youth of our country. There is already a biographical drama based on our PM’s life called PM Narendra Modi. The PM’s role was essayed by Vivek Oberoi but it didn’t do as well at the box office. We will have to wait and see how this one fairs at the box office.
