What’s the Hindi translation of this word?” This is one question we hear on a daily basis in the office. And sometimes, it’s actually difficult to come up with the relevant substitute. Because it’s not always that you find the right emotion to come up with the perfect term. For instance, a Hindi word for ‘selfie’. And Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been looking out for the suitable world since a long time now.

We all know that Big B is extremely active on social media, especially Twitter. We’ve seen him share memes, congratulate people and also complain about celebs not replying to his birthday messages. This time, he took to his page to let people know a Hindi term he’s coined for ‘selfie’. “For long there was an attempt to find a suitable Hindi word for ‘Selfie’ .. many suggestions came to me .. so .. not entirely satisfied I decided to coin one myself ,” he wrote in his tweet.
