Karan Johar’s last venture on an OTT platform was the anthology film on Netflix, Lust Stories starring Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani. All 4 segments of the film, including KJo’s, did exceedingly well and were appreciated by critics all over.
For his next project with Netflix, titled Ghost Stories, Karan has got Avinash Tiwary and Mrunal Thakur on board. The former made his acting debut with Laila Majnu while Mrunal has received critical acclaim for her performance in films such as Love Sonia, Super 30 and Batla House.
The short film will be Johar’s first time directing a film from the horror/supernatural genre and both the actors are looking forward to working with the filmmaker. Ghost Stories is also an anthology, having four short films directed by Karan, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee.
