It is always so much fun to see our favourite celebrities take the road less travelled by them. I mean, when they hop onto public transport from time to time. Be it Salman Khan taking a quick autorickshaw ride to now, Akshay Kumar taking the metro around town. Khiladi Kumar is a simple guy no doubt, but being the star he is, it is not easy to travel in public for the fear of being mobbed. But this time around, he decided to take the fastest route to reach his destination and hopped onto the Mumbai Metro.
Sharing his experience with his fans on social media, he said that he was stuck in peak traffic. That’s when Raj Mehta – the director of his upcoming film, Good Newwz – suggested that Akshay try taking the metro. Akshay elaborates that he had to reach Versova from Ghatkopar and the roads were jammed, it would have taken him at least a few hours to reach. But, in the metro, he reached in 20 minutes!
