Link-up rumours are as common to Bollywood as it is for us to find elaichis in our biryanis. It is not always pleasant news to bite into, but you just need to learn to enjoy the biryani anyways. Well, that’s what most of our top Bollywood celebrities have learnt to do. The recent one on the list being one of our fav boys, Vicky Kaushal.
After having bagged his first ever National award for his performance in Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky is certainly on a high – with loads of attention and recognition from all over. Given his super good-looks and innate charisma, he is a heartthrob for million of people right now. So, of course there were going to be rumours about his relationship status. At the recently held India Today Conclave Mumbai 2019, Vicky opened up about how his parents reacted to these rumours. He shares that they actually had a good laugh about it and asked him to let them know if there really is anyone in his life.
Here’s what he said:
I woke up in the morning and there was one link-up story in the newspaper. My mom and dad were sitting at the dinning table. They were waiting for me to pick up the newspaper and read it. The moment I opened the newspaper and turned to them, they started laughing and said, ‘jis pace pe ja raha hai, humein toh bataa de.’ I was like, ‘I also don’t know what is happening.’
Vicky was recently linked to actress Katrina Kaif after rumours of their proximity started floating about. He was also in the news for his alleged breakup with actress Harleen Sethi. Now, to see who the lucky girl in Vicky’s life is going to be.
On the work front, Vicky is gearing up for the release of his film, Bhoot. He also has Karan Johar’s historic drama, Takht, where he will be seen playing the role of Aurangzeb.
