Katrina Kaif’s Bollywood journey began almost 16 years ago, and the 2003 release, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya was her first commercial success. The film also starred Salman Khan along with Susmita Sen and Sohail Khan. Over the years, Salman and Katrina have worked together in a number of films and are one of the most loved on-screen jodis. Not only that, but they also share a great rapport off-screen.
At the India Today Conclave recently, Katrina spoke about her relationship with Salman and shared that he’s one person who will always stand by his friends.
Katrina said:
Its a friendship that’s lasted 16 years, he’s a true friend. He’s a solid person who is there for you when you need it. He may not be in touch with you all the time but he stands beside his friends.
Back in 2017, during the IIFA press conference in New York, Katrina was asked about the most memorable and naughtiest thing she did when she was 18. To this, she had said, “I was 18 when I met Salman and that is the most memorable thing.”
Coming to their films, they’ve featured together in Yuvvraaj, Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat, apart from Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
